INFO

A VISUALISATION OF LIVE BITCOIN TRANSACTIONS FROM THE BLOCKCHAIN

Every time a Bitcoin transaction is made it is shown here as coloured ball dropping on the plate, You can click on the transactions to find out exactly how much they are worth in BTC. The the cubes represent the last block from the blockchain which are mined on average every 10 minutes, the size of the block is determined by the total BTC value transacted within but scaled down to 1/4 so they don't dominate too much.

Why do they keep falling off the plate? That is so that your browser doesn't crash but if things are getting too much just press the space bar!

This is made using using the awesome three.js and cannon.js Javascript libraries, and live streaming Bitcoin transaction data from the blockchain. This demo uses quite experimental browser techniques and works best in the Google Chrome browser
